Topical fluoride treatments can be a very useful part of tooth decay prevention programs. However, patients at low risk of developing tooth decay do not require professionally applied fluoride treatments. Patients with moderate to high risk of developing tooth decay, including children, may benefit from fluoride treatments.

We use the highest concentration fluoride products (22,600 parts per million particles) which are available only to dentists and pharmacists.

Fissure sealants are thin layers of resin which seals over the deep grooves on your back teeth. They are especially useful in children at risk of tooth decay and reduce tooth decay in adult teeth by up to 85%!

When fissure sealants are applied correctly, they can last many years, providing ongoing protection well into teenage and adult years. Our sealants are priced affordably so that your children can suffer from less tooth decay!

Your diet may impact your oral health more than you think! We can analyse your diet with your help and find out where you may be at greater risk of developing tooth decay.

Hygiene advice is part of every examination. We want everyone to be on the same page when it comes to the right technique for brushing and flossing, which products to use and when. Some people need to use regular mouth rinse – others do not. We help guide you for your oral health needs.

We charge no extra fees for dietary and hygiene advice because preventative oral health is so important to us at Method Dental. When you visit our Grange dental practice, you’ll know the difference between a regular dentist and a preventative dentist.

Custom mouthguards work by absorbing a damaging force and spreading that force out just like a helmet does when riding a bike. They help to prevent damage occurring to your teeth, mouth and jaws and even concussion!

We recommend custom mouthguards for everyone at every level of competition but especially for kids playing sport for their school or local club.  For more information about which sports we recommend mouthguards for check out our awesome blog!

Our mouthguards are made on-site in our own laboratory at Method Dental and you have a range of colours and thicknesses to choose from, depending on the level of competition you are involved in!

We recommend custom-fitted mouthguards because they provide the highest level of protection when compared to store-bought mouth guards. Method Dental does not recommend the use of “preformed” or “boil and bite” mouthguards.

We make our custom mouthguards GAP-FREE for school students with private health insurance or $99 without insurance!
